Tzu Chi Buddist Foundation - San Dimas, California
TZU CHI Buddhist Foundation formed by Dharma Master Cheng Yen. In 1966, she began the work of "Human Buddhism" by involving each of her 30 followers in service to others. Today, the TZU CHI Foundation has over four million members who volunteer their time and resources. The Foundation assists in relief efforts around the world, operates the TZU CHI General Hospital, and the junior college of Nursing in Taiwan. Master Cheng Yen has received the Eisenhower Medallion for her contribution to world peace, and has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Our firm has been commissioned to assist in master planning the site and design an Outdoor Auditorium which function more like an Amphitheater in this beautiful ninety acres of campus site in the County of Los Angeles...
